My Movies Pro - Movie Library App Reviews

This is a nicely laid out app that provides full info for most movies automagically. It has multiple cloud synch options for IOS and web access. 4 stars only because I’ve been waiting for the 2.0 version for full functionality. (Guys - if you need to make a non-App Store version like many vendors these days, that is fine by me. I will buy it.)

This is a great app to keep track of your movies and when you lend them out. I lost several movies to people who never returned them because I couldn’t remember who had them. Not to mention I have purchased duplicate movies because I couldn’t remember if I had gotten a title already. The mobile app gives me access to my collection on the go. The display is nice and searching is easy. This app could be even better if there was a way to do an inventory check. I’d like to be able to go through and simply scan my collection, then have the app process it and compare with the database to determine what is missing from the database or was not added to the database.

Solid as a rock, intuitive, powerful and integrates well with iTunes. There are only a few things I suggest they do to improve the functionality of this app. 1) Tighter integration with iTunes (Share cover art and metadata) 2) Get the TV Series functionality completed on the Mac app I can’t recommend this enough if you have a sizeable movie collection. I only have 838 movies and between ther desktop version and the iOs version, I always have my entire collection at hand, know what has been lent and know what’s on my wish list. I also have the ability to see what stars appear in more than one film in my collection and instantly see what those films are. Fabulous!

This is a great little program that keeps track of all your movies. I use it to avoid duplication when shopping for new titles, as well as keeping track of loaned discs. Coordination with the iPhone app is seamless, and the interface is simple and effective. The only drawback was a less than effective import function, but the search/add function was more than robust enough to overcome that with littile inconvenience. I haev been using this app for several years now, and it remains terrific.
